Mother's Day Mini Book...

How did you spend National Scrapbooking Day?  For me I put the finishing touches on my Mother's Day Mini Book.  For the past couple of days, I've been designing and prepping this project for my Workshop.  Only thing left to do is add a few pictures and give Mom her handmade gift.  "Gifts from the Heart" as I like to say!

I find it interesting to see how other's craft and well...I'm a bit of a HOT MESS :)  Creative Chaos...

But the finished product is so REWARDING!!!  In this Mother's Day Mini Book, I used My Reflections "Balloon Ride" and "Ariana" paper packs.  I cut the pages of the book and the front page

overlay with CTMH's Artbooking Cricut Collection and used the Artiste Cricut Collection

for tags and embellishments.

Enjoy!

Have A Blessed Sunday!

Friends Forever...

I have been blessed with some very dear friends through the years.  God seems to bring people into my life that have walked the road before me or are willing to walk the road with me.  Whether its raising a special needs child, being a girl scout leader, crafter in crime, life long schoolmate, college dorm buddies, sorority sisters or sisters in Christ.  My life has been blessed!  You know who you are and I thank God you are in my life!

As I was playing around with our new "Free To Be Me" paper pack I decided to use our "Fabulous You" stamp set in honor of my dear friends.  As I say "Hints Of Happiness" in Everyday Life...Friends definitely fall into that category!  Take time to look around and count your blessings, pick up the phone and call just to say HI!  Reach out to others and be inspired!  Hope you enjoy this cute little card I made today using our Artiste Cricut Collection.

If you would like to recreate this look, here are the products I used.  If you need to order any Close To My Heart products, I would love to earn your business.  You may shop at my online website.

Free To Be Me...

Happy May....it's National Scrapbooking Month!  Time to celebrate with the "Free To Be Me" paper pack.  I have to say with the inclusion of the vellum papers and the tone on tone papers this is quickly becoming one of my favorite paper series.

Sharing Close To My Heart's Monthly Specials is one of my favorite parts of this business.  I have to say after papercrafting for 10 years, CTMH does have some very nice deals for its customers.   In May you can receive the "Free To Me" paper pack for only $5 with a $50 CTMH purchase plus you can take advantage of the Stamp Of The Month promotion for $5.  This month the stamp set is "You've Got A Friend".  That's right you can combine these monthly specials and receive both for a mere $5 each with your $50 CTMH order.  To take advantage of these offers, please visit my website.

Be sure to check back soon.  I'll be posting photos from my upcoming Workshops.  For those of you in Northeast Ohio, be sure to check out my Workshop schedule.  I'd love to have you join me at one of my upcoming sessions.  Located between Cleveland & Akron near the turnpike and Rt. 8.

Happy Creating!
